As with every year it seems, I need to lose some weight and get a bit healthier. Having had my T2 Diabetes in remission for the last 6 years I should really make this a lifestyle choice rather than a New Years resolution. But I really do like kebabs…
This year I started off at 107.5kg, not my heaviest in a long way, but still pretty bad. I had decided to avoid starting the diet on the first day of Jan, and instead opted for the 7th. This would be after a day of drinking. eating and making merry with family and while booking our summer holiday in France once again.
So I actually started my diet at the weight of 108.1kg. A lot of that was booze and water, so I was not too disheartened, all things being equal. This year though, I really do want to get down to below 90kg; in all my previous attempts I’ve only ever managed 95kg at best and I think that was only for a few days. I will be doing a weekly post to try and keep myself honest and hopefully will manage to get down to my target.
The Stats
Blood pressure: 139/96
Heart rate: 81
Weight: 108.1kg
My tracker watch broke on the 3rd of Jan, so there is currently no ability to track steps or sleep. At least that means there are two targets I wont be able to confirm when I am not hitting them.
